Pablo Picasso today
is known to be one of the most important figures,
if not the most important figure, of 20th century;
in terms
of art/art
movements.
The Spanish born
artist become
one of the most recognised modern art artist, with
the most distinct style and eye for artistic creation. Pablo
Picasso
was
the introduction of cubism, and modern approach to
painting, which was part of the movements
to follow in to the 20th century. His
art was seen to be ‘ahead of his time’; even with its volume of impact that
still occurs today.
On a more personal level as
an artist myself, I feel he is the basis of this worldwide art movement and he
is the foundations to what cubism is and will be for my lifetime.
He has impacted my way of
thinking, changing how I think and looking at the other perspective of what is
more abstract art.
